Hollydene Estate opened the Arrowfield vineyard to the public on February 17, 2014, and lies just 10 kilometres to the west of Jerry’s Plains and 20km east of the pretty little hub of Denman, gateway to the rich Upper Hunter Valley home of wines, equine and mines.
A distinct respect for the property’s long history and its surrounds was maintained during the Hollydene development with the use of timbers from the original Bowman’s Crossing Bridge that once crossed the Hunter river and turpentine timber from the original wharf at Goat Island, Sydney. The timbers are a feature in the walls and ceilings of the restaurant and cellar door as well as the outdoor decking and alfresco area.
Hollydene Estate is committed to the delivery of an affordable quality wine, food and service experience. We strive to provide a safe challenging and rewarding work environment for our employees with responsiveness to the community and customers needs. We aim for a friendly and positive experience for all our customers and consumers.
